CAMPAIGN
The Campaign mission amplifies the voices and real-life experiences of young people living in extreme poverty and facing exclusion, with the aim of raising awareness and mobilizing citizens, businesses, and institutions.
By working alongside young people, LP4Y supports them in co-creating advocacy content and practical solutions that foster dialogue and strengthen the commitment to inclusion.
THE UN ADVOCACY INITIATIVE: WHAT IS ECOSOC?
LP4Y has been active within the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2020, thanks to its special consultative status.
ECOSOC is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, dedicated to advancing the three dimensions of sustainable development: economic, social, and environmental.
It is organized around thematic commissions in which states, United Nations agencies, and civil society participate to advance priority issues. These discussions also aim to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by sharing recent progress made by states as well as best practices from international organizations and civil society.
