Youth Inclusion Network (YIN)
What is the Youth Inclusion Network?
The Youth Inclusion Network is a network of companies committed to the inclusion of Youth from excluded backgrounds. They work together by sharing and developing CSR programs, HR policies, business strategies, etc. This network brings together generous companies that wish to reduce poverty and fight exclusion. They can work with catalysts that can help facilitate the inclusion of such Youth, such as LP4Y and other NGOs specializing in youth inclusion.
The Network will offer a structured framework and official recognition of the work carried out by member companies:
Drawing up a common charter for all member companies to sign,
Formalizing the commitment to long term involvement,
Scheduling monthly brainstorming meetings and an annual event supported by LP4Y
The first YIN was launched on March, 8th, 2016 in Manila in the Philippines.
Why create The Youth Inclusion Network?
Because many business leaders and CEOs from thriving economies around the globe have brought about change by creating jobs, learning opportunities, and creative projects that increased youth participation in society.
Because the champions of Youth inclusion and empowerment are the best people to inspire other leaders to follow suit, until inclusive employment becomes the standard ideal of business.
Because the Filipino Youth are the future of this country; their situation calls for urgent attention and they are our highest priority.
Because sustainable change never happens in isolated actions but only when people come together to pursue a shared vision.
